A recommendation and remarks

Needless to say, my collection is narrow. There are many times more poetry collections and critical monographies—all of them wonderful, than I am able to cite (never mind read ☺).

REMARKS:

• For the time of viewing the tables below, you may like to set the font to a smaller size, so that the tables will be easier to overview.
• I use the current English transliteration of the Chinese names except when I quote others (of course). The result is that in the same line a poet may appear under two different names. Here are the examples of the old and new transliteration:

• Star "*" in front of the title of an item listed in the tables below means that the monography provides the poems also in the original language, perhaps together with the literal translations—"Chinese poetry", edited and translated by W.I.Yip, may serve as an example.
• In two cases the copyright situation is somewhat complex, when the rights are splitted among more than one party. Then my information is not complete. I mention the main party, which is either the writer or the publisher, while I omit the owner of the grahics art or of an introduction or foreword. This compromise is done for the sake of the format of the tables.
• When copyright belongs to the writer then sometimes I type in the year of the latest publication next to the publisher's name.
• I provide only one ISBN per item. As a rule, more than one is available but one is sufficient for tracking down a publication.
• The 4 volume work "Haiku", by R.H.Blyth, has a single ISBN for the total, complete set: 4-590-00571-9 (or 0-89346-184-9 for the older edition). I have provided ISBN for each single volume in the table.
